Courchevel is almost 200 km from Lyon airport, the last part on mountain roads. Shared shuttles make several stops in the valley, and a metered taxi can become very expensive on a busy Saturday. With a private transfer:

From Lyon Saint-Exupéry, the route follows the motorway towards Chambéry and Albertville, then the Tarentaise valley to Moûtiers, before climbing to Courchevel. Allow 2 hours 30 to 3 hours depending on your village and traffic. Saturdays in February are the busiest: we take this into account when suggesting your pick-up time, and our drivers are used to mountain roads in winter.

A sedan suits 4 people with reasonable luggage. For a family or a group of friends, the van takes up to 8 passengers and 8 bags, with room for skis.
